New York, New York
Hershey’s Chocolate World in Times Square delivers an immersive environment to New York City shoppers and tourists with candy machines, bakery treats, and Hershey’s largest s’mores experience.
When designers began mapping out the Chocolate World location, they made Hershey’s iconic candies front and center. This included a larger-than-life Reese’s logo in the form of a back-lit sign hanging from the second floor. To make the classic candy logo stand out, architects needed a distinctive material to serve as the backdrop.
A Cascade 3/16” steel Fabricoil® metal curtain with a subtle orange powder-coating finish was the perfect solution. The metal mesh material is connected to Cascade’s sturdy Steel Secura Track, a custom attachment system that was specially manufactured to the precise curves of the interior construction.
The steel Fabricoil material allowed for a creative design solution that will stand the test of time, much like Hershey’s legendary candy brands.
