El Paso, Texas
Antoine Predock Architect needed a design solution for the exterior side of the windows at the El Paso Federal Courthouse. The suspended copper-clad steel Fabricoil® panels met the functional and aesthetic requirements set forth by the design team. In additional, the material pairs perfectly with the rest of the facade constructed from Texas limestone.
It provides much-needed shade from the intense Texas sun for the interior spaces. At night, Fabricoil is backlit as light exits the rooms inside, showcasing the material in a new way and offering a stark contrast to the building’s daytime aesthetic.
