Truly beautiful execution from AF Steel Fabricators, Kitchell and GLHN Architects & Engineers to transform this former car dealership storage building into a secure, modern parking garage that will live as an iconic, district-defining landmark in Downtown Mesa, Arizona for years to come.

Bringing a distinctive glow and sculptural style to the corner of N Hibbert & E Main while securing the building, the parking structure's retrofit, custom architectural metal mesh facade system utilizes over 11,000 sq ft of 1/2" 13 ga Stainless Steel Fabricoil® Coiled Wire Fabric from Cascade Architectural for the primary architectural metal mesh cladding/screening material.

With safety and sustainability both top priorities at the City of Mesa, the long list of security-focused design choices made for the project—from sophisticated entry control systems to enhanced fire safety measures—are beautifully complimented by the largely freestanding ventilated metal mesh facade structure's use of Stainless Steel Fabricoil® coiled wire fabric. Manufactured in Tualatin, Oregon, the extremely durable, 100% recyclable, American-made woven wire mesh material sustainability contributes go even further by meeting stringent 'Red List Free' criteria, adding solar control benefits, and minimizing mechanical ventilation loads by maintaining an open area well over 50% throughout the structure.
