University of Illinois Richard Daley Library
Chicago, Illinois
The Richard Daley Library on the campus of the University of Illinois is a modern space with quiet, enclosed study booths, open collaborative spaces and unique design touches like Fabricoil® partitions.
The operable metal mesh partitions were custom-made for the library’s open study hubs. Students can retract the curtains to make the space larger when they convene to study in groups. When privacy and concentration are needed, the silver tin-plated steel curtains simply slide on Cascade’s operable Secura Track to provide an enclosed study space.
