Curated to seamlessly integrate into any design style, our standard range of protective coatings make it easy for designers to achieve a project's functional and aesthetic requirements across interior and exterior applications, but all Fabricoil Coiled Wire Fabric Systems can also be specified in custom colors using your manufacturers paint codes or standard RAL color codes to match specific brand colors or achieve a particular aesthetic. When specifying a Fabricoil Coiled Wire Fabric System, you will select the material, gauge, weave size, color/finish, fullness, coil direction, and attachment system. For exterior applications, available materials include Stainless Steel Type 316, Copper-Clad Steel, and Aluminum; and for interiors, Steel and Solid Brass are added to this range of options. All standard finishes and base wire materials offered by Cascade meet stringent Declare Living Building Challenge "Red List Free" criteria meaning they do not contain any toxic Red List chemicals and are 100% recyclable/reusable at end-of-life.

Material and gauge selection is ultimately determined by the aesthetic, functional, and performance requirements of every unique application. Powder-coated color finishes and clear lacquered natural finishes like marine-grade stainless steel and copper-clad steel offer maximum durability and excellent corrosion resistance (ask about our extensive successful salt-spray testing to ASTM G85 annex A5 test standards to 4,000 hours of exposure), though specifying raw, natural wire is also an option for some applications. When a natural patina is desired, popular finishes like copper-clad steel can, for example, be left bare and untreated allowing the wire's natural brownish hues to slowly evolve into a beautiful grey/green patina while retaining its natural anti-microbial characteristics and durability.
