Located directly adjacent to Scotiabank Arena (home of the NHL Maple Leafs and NBA Raptors) sits Aria Ristorante – a high-end, gorgeously decorated restaurant the sets the standard for authentic Italian cuisine in Toronto.
Aria’s 35-foot floor-to-ceiling glass walls provide plenty of daylight for the dining space but required restaurant owners to implement a solar shading solution that would keep guests comfortable. For the interior side of the glass curtainwall, the Aria team chose full-length Fabricoil® coiled wire fabric curtains to address their solar shading concerns, framing the dining space with an upscale metal mesh design.
Aria also features 35-foot-tall Fabricoil partitions that break up the interior, providing comfort and privacy for the tables positioned in the middle of the restaurant. While serving as an effective partition, Fabricoil mesh still allows light and views through the material. As a result, the restaurant maintains its visual and spatial flow without completely hiding the partitioned areas.
